Villa Widmann Rezzonico Foscari is getting ready to host a day dedicated to history, period atmospheres and outdoor conviviality.

The Historical Picnic will bring costumed historical reenactors to the Villa’s green spaces, representing different historical periods, for an event combining historical reenactment, social gathering and entertainment.

The day will begin at 10:30 am with the arrival of the reenactors, registration and the set-up of the different historical settings. Visitors will be able to watch the preparation of the spaces and the activities leading up to the picnic.

From 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, it will be time for the outdoor picnic on the Villa’s lawn, offering visitors the chance to enjoy Villa Widmann in a convivial atmosphere inspired by the past.

In the afternoon, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, the programme will feature period dances, entertainment and historical activities, followed by a more relaxed moment for photographs and final greetings.

During the day, Villa Widmann will be open to visitors according to its usual admission arrangements: full-price ticket €7.00, reduced ticket €6.00

The Historical Picnic is reserved for members of the Compagnie degli Anelli Association.
