On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October, Villa Widmann celebrates Venetian Villas Day, an event dedicated to discovering and promoting the historic villas of Veneto and the cultural heritage they preserve.
Venetian Villas are places where history, art and landscape continue to come together. They are spaces to discover and experience through guided tours, stories, activities and opportunities to connect with the cultural heritage of the area.
For the occasion, Villa Widmann presents a programme featuring guided tours, cultural insights, tastings, food culture and activities for families.
Saturday 17 October
3:30 pm – Guided tour of the Main House
A journey through the Villa’s historic rooms, exploring its interiors, decorations and architectural details. The guided tour will take visitors through the Main House, illustrating its history and distinctive features.
Admission: €5.00 adults; free for children up to 12 years old.

4:00 pm – Hidden Stories of the Park
A walk exploring the statues and mythological figures found throughout the historic garden and monumental park of Villa Widmann.
A journey through art, symbols and landscape to discover the figures that characterise the park and learn to recognise their details and meanings.
Led by art historian Ingli Carraro.
Admission: €10.00 adults; free for children up to 12 years old.

At the end of the walk, a small tasting of flavoured waters and Venetian delicacies will be offered in the Portico of the Barchessa.
Sunday 18 October
9:00 am – Flavours of the Local Area
The characteristic Venetian-style Campiello of Villa Widmann will host a market dedicated to Slow Food Presidia, featuring a selection of products that reflect quality, sustainability and the preservation of local traditions.
An opportunity to meet producers, discover and taste local specialities, and learn about the stories and traditions behind these products.
Free admission.
2:00 pm – English Conversation
An A2-level English conversation session focusing on the Villa’s fresco cycle and designed to discover and talk about Villa Widmann from an international perspective.
A participatory experience in which cultural content becomes an opportunity to practise spoken English and engage with the language.
Led by Mariarita Esposito – CELTA-certified.

3:00 pm – KIDS&FAMILIES Guided Tour
An afternoon dedicated to younger visitors, offering an engaging way to discover the history of Villa Widmann through characters, stories and curiosities.
A child-friendly tour through the Main House and the stories of the Villa. At the end of the tour, a snack will round off the afternoon with a moment of celebration and conviviality.
